Overview

With a 30-year legacy of care, Hall & Prior had outgrown its legacy digital presence. The existing website, built on an unsupported CMS presented multiple security risks and no longer reflected the scale, professionalism, or warmth that defines the Hall & Prior brand. The organisation required a complete digital transformation to:

Strengthen user experience for families, residents, and referrers
Transition to a secure, future-proof platform
Unify its group brands under one flexible content system
Deliver peace of mind through enterprise-level website hardening

Challenge

This was more than a visual refresh. It was a complete rebuild of Hall & Prior’s digital foundation.

Security risk was high. The old site was vulnerable to major threats including authentication bypass, cross-site scripting (XSS), and outdated JavaScript libraries like jQuery 1.11.1 and FancyBox 2.1.5. This posed serious compliance concerns for a healthcare provider.
User experience had become fragmented. The structure, navigation and design no longer supported the needs of diverse users, from family members and residents to job seekers and medical professionals.
The CMS limited growth. Managing content across multiple brands was time-consuming and technically restrictive. There was no scalable system in place.
The timeline was tight. With both security and compliance on the line, the transition needed to be delivered rapidly.

We rebuilt Hall & Prior’s digital ecosystem from the ground up, combining performance, security and scalability.

We restructured the site architecture to support how families and referrers make real-world decisions. Simplified navigation and clearer pathways help users find information quickly and confidently.

Multisite framework for future growth

A WordPress Multisite setup now powers the full Hall & Prior group, including Clarence Estate, Karingal Green, Whiteoak and Woodside.

Each brand maintains its own identity, while Hall & Prior enjoys centralised control and shared efficiencies.

Security-first development

The new platform follows a multi-layered security approach:

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
SSL encryption with strict security headers
Web Application Firewall (WAF)
Hardened PHP environment
Secure database and limited user permissions
Restricted admin access by IP
Daily backups and malware scanning
Single sign-on limited to Hall & Prior email domains

Starting with just one service in plantation shutters, Hamptons Group partnered with PWD to grow their business through a new website and a mix of digital and traditional advertising.
